About the band
Wrentham Band is a friendly and progressive brass band that welcomes new players.
We are a non-contesting band of 3rd–4th section standard (Class A locally), with a diary of varied engagements at venues across Suffolk and Norfolk. Our concerts are interesting and challenging, and are enjoyed by audiences and members alike.
Instruments are usually available on loan and there are no subscriptions to pay.
Come and see us
Visitors are always welcome in the band room. If you would like to see the band in action, or come along for a blow, we rehearse on Monday evenings at 7.30pm at Wrentham Village Hall, Wrentham, Suffolk, NR34 7HJ.
Our history
The band was formed in 1919 and has had many conductors over the years, including some well-known names. You can see the band through the decades in the photo gallery.
